Philipp Pieroth, alias "Der Stör" was born in Mainz, Germany. After earning his high school degree, he decided to study communication design at the Fachhochschule Wiesbaden. During that time he gained experiences as a student at the UTS in Sydney, Australia as well as a designer in graphic studios in Munich and Cologne. Graduating from University in 2007 he took up a position at the well renowned graphic bureau double standards in Berlin. Now working as an independent graphic designer, illustrator and artist he had his first solo show in Berlin last year upon several group exhibitions. The 29-year-old's technical roots are found in graffiti, from where off he developed his skill margin and nowadays can fall back on pen, spray-can, brush as well as scissors, needle and threat, and of course the computer and scanner. Pieroth is always looking for the technique that conveys the content the best.
